Message over Style – new world of communication

Your wrong! As I am not native English, I make a lot of mistakes in both my speaking and writing. In writing most of the errors will go into wrong spelling. In speaking probably most of my issues are choosing the wrong words or even not finding a word at all, being left behind with a description of a single word I was looking for. I hope that at least my sentences are build good enough. Let’s focus for a moment on the writing, as that would be the place where you have the time and opportunity to be right all the

The Twitterzzz has Paparazzi

It’s so ridiculous that at least someone should write about this. Paparazzi Kills by Ratscape Background Earlier this week we overheard a twitter conversation between some reps of VMware, Nutanix and EMC. In short there were three points: VMware employee (Jad El-Zein) says he recommended Nutanix to a customer EMC employee (Matt Cowger) asks if VMware shouldn’t be vendor neutral in that Nutanix emloyee(s) chime in and ask why helping a customer shouldn’t be priority Not that it is the intent of the post (that comes next) to give my opinion here but having been in the same situation previously as Evangelist

To all vendors sponsoring the influencers

Like a prodigal son I have wandered in darkness but I have seen the light and I am very fortunate to being embraced again by the independents community. Off course all this is merely some drama to tell you that I am very grateful to be included in the TechFieldDay delegates crew again. Although I did represent a vendor in the last year, my attitude as a PITA (pain in the ass) for every other vendor out hasn’t changed during that period. Bring the influencers to the vendor This idea of a blogpost “thanking Stephen Foskett” has been wandering in

I know a guy that knows a guy

You should know by now that I am an Evangelist. Whether or not you like the title it does represent what I do: spreading the word passionately. Some call us Technical Marketers and with a little self-deprecating I sometimes call myself the Enterprise Clown. Because that’s what we do, we entertain people in a professional way about technology. A good Evangelist is not per definition an excellent architect or engineer, it’s someone that can express a technical message to any type of audience. It’s the depth of technology and that ability to express that makes you a good evangelist. I hope I can consider

The Mobile Studio

Content is King, they say. Video is the future, they say. So I already decided a while ago to start doing some stuff on the road wht audio, video & screen capturing. The main goal is being flexible and mobile. I want to be able to do a single shot wth 1 mic interview or a 2 person whiteboard wth 2 or 3 angles. Video: The first camera I bought this year was as small as possible but at least wth good video quality. So FULL HD (1920×1080 60i), pocket camera wth wide angle lens (28mm f4-20 1:1.8). I present
